Euro Office is a new sovereign collaborative suite, the result of a coalition of European companies under the EuroStack initiative.

This new solution for editing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations was developed through a truly independent community collaboration involving more than a dozen organizations. A technical preview version is available now.
This project, supported by major European technology companies such as IONOS, Nextcloud, Eurostack, XWiki, OpenProject, Soverin, Abilian, and BTactic, is expected to release its first stable version by this summer.
A strong European alternative
Existing solutions often involve compromises in terms of compatibility and usability, carry legal risks related to licensing and trademarks, or are developed without transparent and open governance and without an independent, sustainable community of contributors.
For organizations that handle sensitive information and public data, this creates a structural risk.
Euro-Office is designed to seamlessly support the most common document, spreadsheet, and presentation formats, while offering an interface that minimizes the need for training and the challenges associated with migration.
The entire source code is published under a full open-source license, with no restrictions related to trademarks, and developed through a transparent process that is open to public review and contributions.
Euro-Office is a coordinated European initiative that brings together commercial companies specializing in open source software, independent developers, and civil society actors within a common governance framework.
This initiative is led by German companies IONOS and Nextcloud, Eurostack, OpenProject, Dutch company Soverin,French companies Xwiki and Abilian, and Spanish company BTactic across Europe.
Together, these companies represent a broad spectrum of the European open-source technology ecosystem and have committed to dedicating significant resources to this project.
Call for Contributions
This coalition aims to build a sustainable ecosystem around Euro-Office and invites other companies, public sector organizations, community contributors, and all other civil society organizations that advocate for open standards, digital rights, and a sovereign digital infrastructure to join this collaboration and help shape the future of the Office suite.
